PANDEMIC is a game based on the SEIR model,  an epidemiological model that is used to predict the spread of an infectious disease. In PANDEMIC, you protect a population from a virus with similar properties to SARS-CoV-2.

One of the goals of this game is to demonstrate the multiplicative power of wearing face masks and their role in keeping new infections to a minimum.

Neat entry!  Thought I was doing a bang up job and then June killed many citizens...ending with 579 deaths.  Good job!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, since about 30% of the population are asymptomatic (like with covid), just one untested citizen that flies under your radar can be enough to send off a new big wave of infections.
